Who We Are
Since 2019, Lala's Land of Learning has opened its doors to families in Chicago, to foster a nurturing, safe, and loving environment for children of all backgrounds.
As a minority and woman-owned early learning center founded by Executive Director, Yolanda E. Wofford, Lala's Land of Learning is a family of skilled educators with years of leadership, training, and advocacy in early childhood education. Rest assured, your children are in the exceptional care of licensed and experienced teachers proudly upholding local, state, and federal childcare standards.
At Lala's Land of Learning, we’re more than an early learning care center, we’re a launching pad for the city’s next generation of changemakers. We aim to help our children develop, discover, and grow into their unique selves– emotionally, creatively, and intellectually.
We believe in the power of community and know that our children need a strong foundation of parents, teachers, and peers to cheer them on at every stage of their lives.
Our Mission
At Lala's Land of Learning, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Early Learning Center offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional, and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
